David Mackey

David was born in Buffalo, NY and raised in South Carolina, where his interest in the relationship between people and the built environment began to take shape. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Clemson University in 2020 and went on to complete his Master of Resilient Urban Design in 2021. Since then, David has contributed to a wide range of project types, including multifamily, K-12, commercial, and residential developments. With a strong focus on fostering human connection through design, particularly in a post-pandemic world, he brings a thoughtful, multi-scale perspective to his work, from individual buildings to regional planning. Outside the office, he enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, dabbling in tennis, and watching cheesy sci-fi movies.
