A new Emergency Operation Center of approximately 4,500 SF to allow the school district to move their data center, school security operations and emergency operations into one location. The facility includes multiple offices, a security monitoring room with 2 monitoring workstations, conference rooms, support spaces and data center. The larger conference room is equipped with a moveable partition to allow flexibility depending on the usage. The conference room is equipped with an AV system with the AV equipment residing in the Data Center to also aid in flexibility of the space.

The Data Center houses the facilities AV equipment, associated cabling, and County radio equipment. Our firm coordinated design with CCSD and EOC racks with CCSD I.T. Design of the facility low voltage equipment followed codes and standards within BICSI Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual, 2015 International Fire Code, 2015 International Building Code, and 2011 National Electrical Code.

New Addition
An addition was needed to the original building to add additional offices and a shower for CCSD staff to use during an emergency activation. The addition was designed to match the original building, and includes 5 offices, a kitchenette/break room, and restroom with a shower.
