Fire Station No. 2

James Island Public Service District   |   James Island, South Carolina

The existing Fire Station No. 2, located on James Island, has been dutifully serving the community for over 60 years. Originally built in 1964 with various modifications over the years, JIPSD has since drastically outgrown the modest station and is in need of a larger replacement. The new facility will be a one-story station with living spaces for up to 4 personnel. The new station will include 2 drive-thru apparatus bays, decontamination rooms, storage, sleeping quarters, restrooms, Captain's office, and commercial kitchen/living quarters.
